Inspiration for Energy Efficiency

If you’re expecting to see pretty pictures of stunning homes, then we have to disappoint you. Insulation isn’t about aesthetics, but rather about energy efficiency and home comfort. It’s what you feel, not what you see. However, if you’re genuinely interested in insulating your home, whether you’re doing it yourself or seeking an installer’s help, you’ll find our gallery very inspiring. Here, you can see how a well-insulated underfloor, ceiling, or wall looks, and these images will give you something to aspire to and follow.

At the end of it all, you’ll have a sense of accomplishment and pride in the job that you’ve done.

We also invite you to share your before-and-after insulation project images with us so that we can showcase them on our gallery, motivating others to undertake this incredible home improvement project themselves.

Of course, we’ve also tried our best to make this gallery as visually pleasing as possible, just for those of you who enjoy a bit of prettiness. After all, let’s face it, for most people, insulation is as boring  as bat-shit;   or we could rephrase that with Walter Benjamin’s quote — ‘Boredom is the dream bird that hatches the egg of experience’.  OR, Andy Warhol — ‘You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.
