IS POLYESTER EXPENSIVE OR DIFFICULT TO INSTALL?
Polyester is NOT expensive. Despite it being the best Underfloor Insulation material available, it is price competitive with other materials.  

The dimensions of our insulation rolls (450 mm wide x 120 mm thick x 11.6 m long) make them ideal for fitting easily between the most common joist spacing of 430.  The extra 20 mm of squeeze makes it easy to pinch and staple.  The length of the roll makes it easy to drag in 5 square metres of material in one go.  There is no need to go back and forth for individual batts.

The part that adds significantly to the final cost is the installation. Professional installation is much more expensive than the material itself. This is where you can save, by installing it yourself.
